Memorial Day 2014 in Kenosha

Looking for something to do this Memorial Day 2014 in Kenosha? Most of us have a three-day weekend (Not us, though –  our stores are open!), so there ought to be some fun to get up to with family and friends. We’ve tracked down some information about some local events that might interest you –  Enjoy!

First of all, you’re probably wondering about parades. You’ve got a couple local options. There’s one in East Troy at 10am, followed by the 38th annual East Troy Area Chamber of Commerce Corn & Brat Roast.

Or if you prefer to eat before your parade, head to Elm Grove, where the Woman’s Club is hosting a pancake breakfast from 7:30am until 10am, and the parade commences at 10:30am.

If you’re feeling really ambitious, head up to Milwaukee for the 149th Annual Memorial Day Parade. Afterward there will be a wreath laying ceremony at the War Memorial Center.

Or you could go car shopping! We know, it’s a shameless plug, but if you happen to be in the market for a new or used vehicle, we’ve got great deals going on for our Memorial Day sale at all five locations. Hundreds and hundreds of cars, trucks, and SUVs to choose from on this most popular car shopping holiday of the year!

Our final event suggestion –  and believe us, there are plenty more to choose from should you be  inclined to continue your search –  is the day-long event happening in Brookfield at Wisconsin Memorial Park. There’s actually a whole weekend line-up of events, but Monday’s when you’ll get to see the parade, live entertainment, and a lunch benefit.

We wish you a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend!
