DaimlerChrysler Employee Purchase

This program allows DaimlerChrysler employees to purchase or lease new Chrysler vehicles at a specially formulated employee price. This price is always listed in the factory invoice. Highlights of the program are listed below. For complete details, contact us or see official program rules.
Program Description:
The Employee/Retiree New Vehicle Purchase/Lease Program is a program for employees and retirees of DaimlerChrysler (formerly Chrysler Corporation and its subsidiaries and affiliated companies) and DaimlerChrysler AG North America (formerly North America Daimler Benz Companies) that allows the purchase or lease of DaimlerChrysler vehicles at a formula price.
Purchaser/Lessee Eligibility Overview:
Employees and retirees are entitled to purchase or lease a maximum of four vehicles each calendar year. Vehicle must be titled or leased only in the name of those identified below:
Permanent employees must have 90 days of corporate service.
Retirees must be receiving benefits from a regular DaimlerChrysler Sponsored Pension Plan. Those receiving deferred pension benefits are not eligible.
Employee's or retiree's spouse, parents, spouse's parents, sons and daughters (including in-laws and stepchildren), brothers and sisters (including in-laws, half brothers and half sisters, and step brothers and step sisters).
Once the employee/retiree is deceased, the benefit is only available to the surviving spouse and children. If both the employee/retiree and surviving spouse are deceased, all eligible family members are no longer eligible.
Not eligible: Temporary employees, contract employees and former employees entitled to deferred vested pension benefits. Nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, grandchildren, neighbors and friends. Family members of surviving spouses after the surviving spouse is deceased. Vehicles registered/titled in the name of a business. Eligible purchasers lose eligible status upon termination of employment for any reason other than retirement.
Employee Price:
A participating dealer submitting a claim under this program must sell or lease a vehicle at the Employee Purchase Price listed on factory invoice and may not charge more or less than that price. Privileges will be lost if an audit shows vehicle sold for more or less than Employee Purchase Price.
If a vehicle is purchased or leased from dealer inventory, the price to the purchaser/lessee is also listed on the factory invoice. The employee price is preceded by the letters "EP" and is rounded to the nearest dollar. This appears on all factory invoices and is always the correct price.
Eligible Vehicles:
Only new and unused DaimlerChrysler vehicles sold or leased and delivered to a retail customer are eligible for this program. Vehicles may be delivered from dealer stock or factory-ordered for eligible customers.
Ineligible Vehicles:
Used vehicles. Discontinued models. Vehicles having odometer mileage in excess of that incidental to transport of the vehicle as new prior to the date of licensing and titling. Vehicle delivered a special bid, DRAC, DRiver Education Service, and any vehicle sold or leased to a daily rental customer or Registered Fleet Account. Vehicles sold to DaimlerChrysler dealers,non-franchised dealers,and conversion companies. Vehicles sold for export from the United States. Vehicle specifically excluded or limited production vehicles as designated by DaimlerChrysler. Vehicles purchased by any broker or non-franchised dealer for the purpose of resale or lease. Vehicles, the sale of which was facilitated by a third party who is not an employee of a franchised dealer. Replacement vehicles as a result of an arbitration award, settlement agreement, judgment, or voluntary agreement for a vehicle reacquired by DaimlerChrysler. Vehicles originally invoiced to non-domestic dealers. Vehicles purchased or "dealer-traded" from non-franchised dealers, except new vehicles acquired from qualified conversion companies.
NOTE: DaimlerChrysler may, at any time, upon written or electronic notice to dealers, cancel, amend or modify this program.
