On September 13th, Team Battle Back Jack took on the Briggs & Al’s Run & Walk for Children’s Hospital, and the day was a great success thanks to the team member who came out to do the 8k and to every one of our employees, customers, and supporters who helped us reach and clear our goal. We’re so proud and grateful!

We ended up raising over $25,000, which came from a variety of generous individuals and through a number of efforts including car washes, car shows, and employee and customer donations. Palmen also made a contribution for every car sold over the month leading up to the event. Much of the funds will be used toward the Jack Palmen Fund, an endowment that exists to help families spend time with their children undergoing care.

Above is a great view of one of our favorite architectural landmarks of Milwaukee: the Quadracci Pavilion of the Milwaukee Art Museum. Designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and added to the museum in 2001, this incredibly unique structure look great against the late summer sky and was a pleasure to pass by on our journey.

Eight kilometers and over $25,000 in donations later, we made it! It was a terrific event, a huge success, and we couldn’t have done it without you!
