Twilight Jazz 2014

Here at Palmen Auto Stores, we are always trying to find new ways to support the local community, and summer is an especially great time to find new ways to get out and enjoy the warm Wisconsin weather with friends, family, and neighbors. That’s why we’re proud to help sponsor the Twilight Jazz 2014 series at the Anderson Arts Center. Learn more about the remaining concerts that you are welcomed and encouraged to attend this summer!

The Twilight Jazz series is an outdoor concert series that local businesses –  including us here at Palmen –  help to sponsor. This allows the concerts to be free to the public so that everyone can attend! Here are the remaining of the concerts that are scheduled for the 2014 Summer Season:

Tuesday, July 29: KUSD All Star Jazz Band –  This group comprises students from the district who were nominated by their high school band instructors for their exemplary performance and experience. Come see their talent in action this Tuesday!

Tuesday, August 26: Parkside Reunion Big Band –  This is a group of UW-Parkside alumni and friends. Based here in Kenosha, this jazz group is a local favorite and can often be seen at local venues.

 

If you decide to come to either of the two shows listed above for the 2014 Summer Season, here are the details:

The Anderson Arts Center is at 121 Sixty-Sixth Street in Kenosha. Grounds open at 6:00pm and the performances begin at 7:00pm. Food vendors and outdoor bathrooms are available. the gift shop will be open, and during each event there will be a 50/50 raffle that helps support the Anderson Arts Center. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on while you enjoy the show!
